The office of the Senior Plannere, Urban Development Directorate, Khulna Regional Office is a branch office of Urban Development Directorate (UDD), under the Ministry of Housing and Public Works aim to prepare Master plan/Development, urban Area plan (All Related Physical Plan) plan among its jurisdiction (10 zilas of khulna division except authority areas). The activity of Urban Development Directorate, Khulna Regional Office stated in  09-03-1985 under he National Physical Planning Phase-2 project and later transferred to the revenue budget. From year 1985 to 2018 this regional office operated its activities from Khulna Housing office building situated at Khalishpur. With the increasing volume of work from the year 2018 the office operated from rent based office building. Its activities are currently being run by Mangrove tower-01, Plot no-119, Mujaguni main road, Boyra, Khulna.
